In their art practice Jessica approaches the human body from different angles and with different distances between their own body and the work, through the mediums of painting, sculpture and performance

She challenges the separation between body and mind. Touching on themes like the animalistic, emotional processes, the organic and embedded history within the human body, taking the body as a compass, while also recognizing the alienation that arises from communicating with the body from the mind's perspective.
